Compass

Clarity on how you're built to work and what you're meant to create

You already know something is off. You just can't locate it.

You've read the articles. You've tried the morning routine, the time-blocking system, the productivity book everyone recommended. Some of it worked, for a while, and then it didn't, and you assumed the failure was yours.

You're not lazy and you're not disorganized. You're managing a career, or building something ambitious, or both, while carrying more than most people around you know about: family demands that don't show up on a calendar, a body or mind that doesn't run the way the productivity books assume, an idea you haven't said out loud because you're not sure yet if it's real or if you're allowed to want it.

You've gotten good at describing the problem. What you've lost is the felt sense of what's actually true for you, underneath the advice, underneath what you think you should want, underneath the guilt about not managing it all better.

That's what Compass is for.

What Actually Is This?

Compass uses several lenses on your natal chart and its interactions with current planetary positions, along with evidence-based tools from behavioral science for additional insight and concrete change.

The astrology is a window onto yourself, not a predictive tool. It tells us your basic energetic design and what season you're currently moving through.

Compass isn't your typical astrology session. We don’t walk through your natal chart, describing your signs. This is a working conversation that uses the chart to get past generic possibility and into what's specifically true for you, informed by my training as an organizational psychologist and twenty-some years of research into how people navigate work, identity, and self-concept.

Most sessions like this start with some small talk and quickly dive into the chart.

Compass starts by diving into your life: your actual circumstances, routines, and constraints, so that when we do get to the chart, we already know which of its many possible meanings may be relevant and which aren't. Narrowing the lens this way makes the best use of our time.

By the end, you'll have language for what you're working with and a plan for moving forward, not just a description of your personality or a vague idea of your purpose.

How the session works

The first 15 minutes are about your actual life: the shape of your work, your family obligations, your routines, how you currently try to manage your own productivity, and anything you already suspect is affecting your patterns. This isn't small talk before the "real" part starts. It's what lets the rest of the session be specific to you instead of a generic tour of your chart's possibilities.

The middle 45 minutes is where we work with your natal chart and current transits together. Your chart shows your basic energetic signature and dispositional patterns; your transits show the current weather moving through that signature. Whatever surfaced in the first 15 minutes tells us where to focus: for some people that's their working rhythm, for others it's a calling they haven't let themselves name yet, and for others it's an inherited rule about what they're allowed to want. Most people carry some mix of all three. We follow whichever is most pressing.

The final 15 minutes is about what changes. I'll walk you through a four-step model I use for implementing change in a way that fits your actual life, not a generic habit-formation framework. I’ll follow up with a short workbook tailored to you, something you can return to over time.

Six weeks later, we meet again for 30 minutes to check in: what's held, what hasn't, what needs adjusting.

What you'll leave with

  • A working map of your energetic signature and the season you're moving through

  • Language for what's actually pressing right now: rhythm, calling, or permission, or some combination

  • A concrete next step, not a five-year plan

  • A short workbook based on the four-step change model, built to use on your own

  • A scheduled check-in six weeks out, so you have support for the shift.

Compass is for you if:

  • You're a high-achieving professional or entrepreneur who wants to contribute something real, and you're beset on all sides by work and family demands that leave no room to think about it clearly.

  • You've internalized productivity norms that were never built for how you actually function, and some part of you suspects the problem isn't discipline.

  • You're carrying an idea, a direction, a piece of work you feel called toward, and you're not fully sure yet whether it's worth taking seriously.

  • You spend time reading advice, listening to podcasts, and talking about the problem, and you've noticed that none of it is translating into you actually trusting yourself.

  • You want a structured, professionally grounded conversation, not a chart reading and not an open-ended coaching call.

Compass is not for you if:

  • You want a standard natal reading, planet by planet, sign by sign. (There are excellent astrologers for that. This isn't that.)

  • You're looking for a prediction about what will happen to you. Compass works with patterns and energy flows, not fortune-telling.

  • You want to be handed a productivity system to adopt wholesale. Compass builds towards a simple, workable next step, based on what's true for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an astrology reading?

Not in the way that phrase usually means. Astrology is the instrument I use to get specific about your energetic design and current season, but the substance of the session draws just as much on my background as an organizational psychologist and on pattern recognition built from two decades of research and lived experience. If you're looking for a chart interpretation and nothing more, this probably isn't the right fit.

Do I need to already understand or believe in astrology?

No. What happens in a Compass session doesn't require belief, just openness to reflecting on your life through this ancient symbolic lens.

What happens after the 6-week check-in?

Nothing is required. One session and a check-in could be enough to get momentum. Or Compass might surface something bigger: a vision worth building, a calling that needs more of a runway. If that’s where you find yourself, the natural next step is the Vision Calibration Intensive, a four-month, one-on-one engagement where I work alongside you as an incubation partner. That means I’m in the actual work with you: thinking, imagining, researching, drafting, shaping next steps. Compass gives you a felt sense of the vision. The Intensive is where you pick up the paintbrush and begin.

What if I'm not sure this is different enough from a regular astrology reading to be worth it?

That's a fair question to sit with before booking. The clearest test: if what you want is to understand your personality, a standard reading will do that for less. If what you want is to figure out what's actually true for you right now, underneath the productivity advice and the guilt and the noise, and to leave with a concrete next step, Compass is built for that specifically.
